A resource guide providing up-to-date information and resources for immigrants in custody to make informed decisions and access available resources within the community.
Our 2023 edition will be updated and also available in Spanish January 31st.
This is dedicated to all immigrants fighting to have their matter go before the courts, to be afforded basic human rights and be allowed the opportunity to defend themselves. It is dedicated to Anne, a domestic violence survivor forced to go back to the perpetrator to get out of detention, to be able to go on and fight/win her case in the immigration courts; to the two young Asian women, who cried themselves to sleep every night due to fraudulent attorney representation; to the young mother of 4 caught up in the family courts forced to leave her children behind in the United States; and to the woman from India, denied her vegetarian meal, for religious practices, for months awaiting removal, leaving her only son behind with the father, as the United States was the only home he had ever known.
